How I can help

In my therapeutic approach to anxiety, I focus on helping you recognize and understand unhelpful thought patterns that may be holding you back. Together, we’ll explore tendencies like all-or-nothing thinking and your mind's inclination to jump to worst-case scenarios. By addressing these patterns, we can work towards cultivating a healthier and more balanced perspective.

I will also help you gain a better understanding of yourself and how anxiety shows up in your body through mindfulness, meditation, and EMDR. In time you will have more awareness of triggers and approach them differently, slow your mind, and feel more clam in your body.

Feel more calm + connected.

FAQs about Anxiety Therapy

  • To begin, you can schedule a free consultation call with me. During our 15-minute conversation, we'll explore what has brought you to therapy and your goals for our work together. I’ll also be happy to answer any questions you might have about the therapeutic process. If we both feel it’s a good fit, we’ll move forward to schedule your initial 45-minute intake session. In that session, we’ll dive deeper into the issues you’d like to address, and by the end, we can set up a regular schedule for our weekly sessions. I look forward to supporting you on this journey.

  • At first, we will meet weekly for 45-minute sessions. As you make progress and achieve your therapeutic goals, we can evaluate together whether transitioning to bi-weekly sessions would be beneficial for you.

  • I often receive questions about the length of therapy, and I understand why this is an important consideration for clients. It’s natural to want clarity on what to expect. However, the duration of therapy can vary widely based on individual factors such as your unique history, goals, and the specific challenges you face.

Therapy is a deeply personalized process, tailored to your specific needs. While it’s difficult to predict exactly how long it will take, I prioritize regular check-ins to assess your progress. This ongoing evaluation is crucial, as it helps us ensure that our approach remains aligned with your evolving needs. Together, we’ll continually reflect on your journey and make adjustments as necessary to support your growth.
